Day 1: Momella Gate to Miriakamba Hut

Momella Gate to Miriakamba Hut
- Starting Point: Momella Gate
- Altitude Gain: 8,337 ft / 2,541 m
- Highlights: Begin your trek at Momella Gate, journeying through lush forests and crossing the Ngare Nanyuki River. The route offers a chance to spot giraffes, buffalos, and antelopes in the lower slopes. Arrive at Miriakamba Hut in the early evening for an overnight stay.
Day 2 : Miriakamba Hut to Saddle Hut and Little Meru

Miriakamba Hut to Saddle Hut and Little Meru
- Altitude Gain: 11,713 ft / 3,570 m
- Optional Acclimatization Hike: Little Meru (12,450 ft / 3,794 m)
- Highlights: Continue the ascent through beautiful forest glades and giant heather to reach Saddle Hut, where you can rest and acclimatize. For additional acclimatization and panoramic views, take an afternoon hike to the summit of Little Meru before returning to Saddle Hut for the night.
Day 3 : Saddle Hut to Rhino Point and Summit, then Descent

- Summit Altitude: 14,981 ft / 4,566 m
- Highlights: Start early for the summit, reaching Rhino Point before the final climb along the dramatic ridges to the summit of Mount Meru. Enjoy breathtaking views, including vistas of Mount Kilimanjaro on a clear day. After taking in the summit, descend all the way back to Momella Gate for transfer back to the base hotel.
